Job description

Under general supervision this position is responsible for a variety of human resource records administration and maintenance including analyzing, troubleshooting and enhancements of processes and systems. Support the development, implementation and data integrity of all HRIS systems.
Assist with effective utilization of Workday system HCM administration, data integrity, process efficiency, HR reporting, and system enhancements.
Partner with HR team to identify appropriate enhancements, modifications, and corrections to all HCM process improvement. Collaborate and consult with HR functional leads to provide recommendations, configuration, testing, and training.
Oversee maintenance of student employment job profiles, pay input details, and reports to ensure accurate processing and payments. Audit, research, analyze and resolve data issues or discrepancies as required.
Research and resolve HRIS issues. Troubleshoot unexpected results or process flaws and recommends solutions. Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective adoption of Workday HCM functionalities.
Support human resource efforts to ensure accurate and timely processing, approval, reporting and compliance of HR data.
Assist subject matter experts and end users to develop and maintain reports.
Liaison to ITS. Collaborate with ITS and system vendors on implementing the changes and enhancements.
Provide Tier 2 HCM support and customer service to the LMU community for HCM issues. Monitor help desk tickets and respond in a timely manner. May provide one-on-one training sessions as appropriate. Will escalate issues as needed.
Participate in projects (or on project teams) to implement new functionality with HRIS.
Represent LMU within the community and at professional organizations or associations, serve on committees as required.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Requisite Qualifications

  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communication, or related field or equivalent experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of benefit regulation/policy changes.

  • Minimum 5 years of human resources information system and HR record maintenance experience. Payroll experience helpful.

  • Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of current human resources 'best practices', human resource data management and maintenance, HRIS systems, compliance, and general human resource policy & procedure.

  • Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) evidenced by background in investigations, preparing comprehensive reports, and general employee and management communication.

  • Excellent analytical skills and knowledgeable about commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the HRIS field. Ability to adapt to changes and continuously meet deadlines.

  • Highly developed organizational and analytic skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities; interacts effectively at all levels, solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision.

  • Demonstrated computer competency and preferably knowledgeable of HRIS systems.

Salary range
$72,500.00 - $103,314.00 Salary commensurate with education and experience.
