POSITION SUMMARY
We have an immediate opportunity for a HR Information Systems Analyst in the Chicago, IL surrounding area. After initial training completed, this role can be hybrid working in office and at home.
HRIS Analyst will partner with Director HR Shared Services to maintain the HRIS system for the Company. Monitors system performance, end user activities, data integrity and interfaces to other systems and third-party vendors to resolve problems. Provides UKG & UTM system expertise, direction, and training to end users. Responsible for various projects including testing of the system during upgrades and documenting workflow/new procedures. In addition, responsible for day-to-day support which may include system set up, various reporting and ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include maintenance, upgrade to systems, and modules.
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve system problems.
- Provide first level support to Payroll Benefits Specialist, HR, End Users in system changes, problem solving and training.
- Develop and track Human Resources metrics data.
- Build and test all changes to HR systems including new configurations, pay rules and special programming.
- Conduct audits to ensure data integrity of employee data.
- Complete monthly Benefit Billing for multiple vendors
- Communicate issues, trends, and process changes to the HR team.
- Design, document, implement and monitor ad hoc and ongoing reports in HR systems that accurately reflect internal customer requirements.
- Enters, maintains, and/or process information in the UKG payroll system. Information may include employees’ salaries, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holiday, deductions and withholding.
- Partner with Payroll Benefits Specialist on further automation of payroll transactions.
- Work with HR and Payroll to ensure quality of HR data through process documentation, change management and audit reports.
- Manage vendor relationships.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- 3 + years of related work experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail.
- Experience in HR system administration, Timekeeping systems and UKG BI Reporting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite extensive knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
- Planning and project management skills are necessary as is the ability to succeed and prioritize while meeting multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communications (written and verbal) skills.
- Strong collaboration skills to partner effectively across business units.
- Ability to maintain a confidential work environment, including handling issues with discretion and good judgement.
- Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating organization, self-direction, and strong problem-solving skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee’s work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Employee is expected to maintain an organized work area and contribute to the overall decorum of a professional setting. Work days are generally Monday through Friday; however, the employee is expected to work additional, including weekend hours as required fulfilling job duties.
