Join our dynamic Human Resources team and become the HR champion our Finance organization needs. As a key partner to our Pratt & Whitney Chief Financial Officer and senior leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our organizational health, succession planning, employee relations, and, most importantly, the employee experience.
Your impact will be felt across a multitude of areas:
- Be a strategic HR business partner: Partner with business leaders to translate business objectives into actionable HR strategies. Coach and guide leaders on organizational health, succession planning, talent management, and more.
- Champion change and foster innovation: Be a positive disruptor who can navigate complex challenges and leverage change management principles to drive successful outcomes.
- Build a diverse and inclusive workforce: Oversee staffing levels, identify and develop talent, and infuse the organization with a strong DE&I mindset.
- Empower our leaders and teams: Advise and counsel executives and senior managers on optimizing team effectiveness, fostering inclusive management, and developing talent.
- Shape a positive and engaging employee experience: Stay ahead of the latest trends and implement initiatives that promote employee engagement and cultivate a thriving workplace culture.
- Ensure meeting Human Resources priorities on DE&I, Culture, Wellbeing, Transformation and Talent through guiding and partnering with business leaders and stakeholders to support success in the current year and in the future.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 12 or more years of relevant experience or an advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 10 or more years of relevant experience.
• 5 or more years of relevant HR experience in a business partner or generalist role
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate people, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment, and effectively interface at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders, understanding business needs, and implementing HR practices and solutions across the organization.
• Deliver various Human Resources practices and initiatives such as coaching/guiding, leadership development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, organization design, sourcing plans, employee and/or labor relations, or compensation planning.
• Experience leading and collaborating with the HR Communities of Expertise, HR Partners and People Services to drive business strategies and priorities.
• Structured project management leadership experience. Dynamic problem solver with the ability to craft solutions to everyday challenges with creative new ideas.
• Strong leadership communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Proven customer focused experience and excellent business judgment.
• Strong analytical, systems, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to lead effectively in a diverse and dynamic work environment.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis in East Hartford, CT
