Job Summary: The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a pivotal role in providing operational oversight for all human resources functions within Prominence Health. The HRBP position is responsible for aligning business objectives and HR processes, employment practices, and laws with staff and leadership. The position builds and maintains partnerships across the organization’s mid-level leadership as well as the HR function locally and with corporate to serve as an advisor and coach to support and deliver value-added service to staff and leadership that reflects the business objectives of the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of HR processes, workflow, employment practices, and laws. Adaptability to diverse leadership teams and cultures is essential for tailored advising provided to staff and leadership to meet specific organizational needs.
This role requires a high level of independence and collaboration, contributing to moderately complex aspects of projects. The position maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, midrange plans, culture, and competition. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree required. Preferred completion in Business Administration, Health Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- 5 years of Human Resources experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience related to the duties of the position.
- Requires demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing employment practices including Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, etc.
- PHR or SHRM certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative and participative way.
- Ability to exhibit leadership which engenders support and confidence of others.
- Advanced interpersonal skills and sound judgment necessary to interact in extremely delicate, sensitive and/or complex situations.
- Extremely advanced analytical and problem-solving skills necessary to organize, plan and direct work of the entire division, development of short and long-range plans, recruitment, retention, financial strategies, etc.
- Additional skills needed to be successful: Analytical thinking, building strategic partnerships, building trust, business acumen, consulting, gaining commitment, influencing, initiating action, and managing conflict.
