- Collaborate with business leaders and senior leadership to understand their business goals and objectives and provide strategic HR support to achieve them.
- Act as a point of contact for employees and managers to address HR-related issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of organizational changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, or other significant initiatives, by providing HR expertise and guidance.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with labor laws and regulations and provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Utilize HR analytics and data to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and provide insights to drive organizational performance and employee engagement.
- Implement and manage performance appraisal processes and assist in setting performance objectives and development plans for employees.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and manage competitive compensation programs that attract and retain top talent.
- Partner with HR peers to drive HR-related projects, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, employee engagement programs, or HR system implementations to align with company objectives.
- Foster a positive workplace culture by implementing strategies to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years’ experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR Business Partnering in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
- Experience in various HR functions such as talent management, employee relations, and change management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and industry trends.
- Ability to think strategically and align HR initiatives with the organization's overall business goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address complex HR issues.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use HR analytics to inform decision-making.
- Experience in managing HR projects and initiatives effectively.
- Expertise in managing organizational change and supporting employees through transitions.
- Must be a strong collaborator and able to build relationships at all levels.
- Professional HR certifications, such as PHR or SPHR, preferred.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish, preferred.
- 25% travel is expected.
