ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Benefits:
- Develop and oversee all aspects of employee benefit and wellness programs to ensure they are properly administered and compliant.
- Serve as primary contact for employees, plan vendors and third-party administrators and respond to all inquiries.
- Coordinate daily benefits processing. Process and administer all enrollments, LOA requests and disability paperwork, FMLA, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, accident and death claims.
- Perform audits on a regular basis to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained, and information is current and accurate.
- Administer the tuition reimbursement and professional development program.
- Provide necessary reports for monthly invoices.
General HR:
- Source, recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Assist with the timely, accurate and compliant processing of Trellance's monthly payroll.
- Assist with processing of terminations and conduct exit interviews.
- Assist with performance review process as needed.
- Process, verify and maintain accurate documentation relating to HR activities such as staffing, training and performance evaluations.
- Maintain all human resource records in all databases including new hires, terminations, pay changes, benefits, cobra, etc.
- Provide support to employees on various HR related topics and resolve any issues and problems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university plus a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the specific or related field OR High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the field.
Other Experience and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of prior hands on Benefits/HR experience required.
- Prior recruiting experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of all pertinent federal and state employment law including FMLA, ADA, COBRA, unemployment and worker's compensation, investigation processes, compensation processes and benefit programs.
- Knowledge of HR, benefits and payroll software.
- Be discreet in handling confidential/sensitive information.
- Professional certification preferred (PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, CPP).
