Your New Role
Survitec Group Miramar is in search of a dynamic HR Generalist well-versed in Texas and Florida law to fulfill a pivotal role in communicating and executing HR initiatives. As an HR Generalist, you will utilize your proficiency in personnel administration, exceptional communication abilities, and interpersonal finesse to bolster the success of our team.
What You Can Expect from the Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Compliance Management: Proactively manage federal, state, and local HR-related compliance matters, ensuring adherence to laws such as A.D.A., E.E.O., Affirmative Action Planning, FMLA, and OSHA.
- Employee Relations: Coordinate and confidentially investigate Workers' Compensation, unemployment issues, Affirmative Action, EEO, Sexual Harassment, and other employee relations matters.
- Administrative Functions: Perform general administrative functions, including employee file maintenance, legal compliance logs, and HRIS data entry and maintenance.
The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have
Essential Criteria:
- College degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Previous experience in HR Generalist roles; SHRM certification is advantageous.
- Proficiency in HR technical subjects, HRIS systems, and computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to work well in a team with minimal supervision.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
