Hr Generalist

LHH Recruitment Solutions has an HR Generalist for our client in the surrounding Wall, NJ area. This direct hire role allows you to expand your human resources career through supporting the HR Team in a fast-paced engineering industry! This on-site position requires a bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources, a minimum of seven years’ experience as an HR Generalist and prefers candidate that have a strong background within Excel and HRIS systems, preferably Deltek. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in dealing with recruitment, laws, policies, onboarding, and record keeping. ADP and PHR/SPHR certification highly preferred as well as engineering industry experience.

THIS IS A FULLY ONSITE ROLE 5 DAYS A WEEK.

Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000 DOE.
Responsibilities: 

• Oversee and manage all Recruiting process and procedure, including advertising, interviewing, onboarding, college career fairs, job fairs, etc.

• Maintain onboarding records for all new hires in compliance with the law and organizations policies.

• Oversee and upkeep personnel files.

• Collaborate daily with Employee Development Manager, CEO and COO for any strategic initiatives for the organization.

• Conduct research, legal and investigatory.

• Aid in clarification needs regarding company policy and procedure.

• Assist in and/or conduct root cause investigations.

• Act as liaison and ensure and enforce compliance with company, state and federal guidelines and laws.

• Collaborate with other departments and participate in meetings, live or virtual, as needed.

• Participate, monitor and maintain any and all performance based reviews ensuring compliance and standardization.

Requirements:

 

• Required - Bachelor's degree in HR or related curriculum.

• Required – minimum of 7 years experience as an HR generalist.

• Required – testing of Excel skills.

• Preferred – HR Certification such as SPHR or PHR.

• Highly preferred – HRIS experience in Deltek, or similar system.

• Working knowledge of HR laws and policies, including employment law, disability, and benefits programs.

• Strong communication, organizational skills as well as highly detail oriented.

• Experience within an engineering environment.
