We are seeking a HR Generalistto join our company located in Houston, TX. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources.
Position Description: TheHR Generalistwill support the daily operation of the Human Resources department.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate general human resources policies and procedures
- Assist with the recruitment and hiring process
- Administer employee health and benefit programs
- Support the weekly payroll process
- Update and maintain the confidentiality of employment files
- Organize the annual performance evaluation process
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Respond to all employee questions/concerns
- Process and analyze reports
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Hands on, self-starting, disciplined, and detail-oriented individual
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver assignments on time
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Successful in dealing with personnel at all levels
- Ability to exhibit poise, composure and confidence when confronting stressful or high-pressure situations
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of proper HR standards and best practices
- ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus
- 5+ years’ experience in human resources
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
