Job Summary:
Assist in with the daily operations to ensure all functions are completed. Responsible for the employee pre-hire process, Benefits and ensures all employee files are compliant with company policy and State, Federal and Joint Commission Regulations.
Responsibilities:
- May oversee the pre-hire onboarding process to include extending offer to hires, initiating
background check, drug screen and various screenings based on role, coordinating start
dates, and keeping in communication with all parties on progress and start date. - May work with internal trainers to schedule and maintain compliance for active staff with
CPR/FA and CPI certifications. Including notification of those attending monthly trainings
as required - Track and maintain HR compliance processes, ensuring the employee personnel file is
complaint with Company policy and all applicable external regulations. - Review and process employee benefit enrollments and respond to staff questions.
- Process all requests for leave of absence, including providing short term disability
paperwork and family medical leave (FMLA) paperwork if applicable. - Process weekly 401k deferral reports via John Hancock, ensuring updates in Paycom are
accurate - Process employee incidents, reporting to our Worker's Comp Carrier and entering in
Paycom for tracking. Following up with the staff member as needed. - Manage all COVID information which includes reaching out to the employee and updating
the supervisor/manager. Obtaining all required documentation for entry into HRIS system
as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
- Associates Degree preferred.
- SHRM Certification preferred.
- Three years of progressive Human Resources experience preferred; one year of HR experience required.
- Two years of customer service experience required.
