HR Generalist
Sunvair, Inc. is an FAA 145 Repair Station specializing in landing gear and hydraulic component overhaul for Boeing MD/DC, Boeing 7-series, Bombardier Q-400, and Lockheed applications. Currently we are seeking an HR Generalist to oversee our hiring, drug plan, and company policies established for our facility. This is a full time, exempt position reporting directly to and working side by side with our Vice President of HR to create a positive work environment and to provide day to day guidance to leads, managers and supervisors by providing coaching, counseling, and disciplinary guidance.
Responsibilities include:
· Serve as a link between management and employees by answering questions, interpreting for employees, and helping resolve work-related problems.
· Advise managers on organizational issues and policies, such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.
· Support VP of HR with compliance initiatives to reduce legal risks and ensuring legal compliance
· Identify vacancies and recruit, interview, and select applicants
· Administer FAA/DOT Drug program including paperwork, scheduling of drug screens, and FAA audits
· Work with management as well as leads and supervisors to identify needed positions and description including pay ranges.
· Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion, and employee benefits.
· Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
· Lead meetings to translate information such as medical benefits, 401K and time off.
· Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
· Coordinate conferences, meetings, or special events, such as luncheons and company events
· Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with fellow employees
· Issue badges, passes, and identification cards, and perform other security-related duties.
· Assist in various areas as needed such as accounting, finance and payroll as required assistance.
· Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies and notify eligible workers of position availability.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
