Job Description
LHH is teaming up with a building product company in Roseville, CA in search of a contract-to-hire HR Generalist! This fully on-site role will focus on the areas of Employee Relations, Training and Development, and Performance Management.
The ideal candidate writes and speaks Spanish fluently and has at least 3 years' experience as an HR Generalist, especially in the areas of Employee Relations, Training and Development, and Performance Management. A degree in Human Resources or a related field is strongly preferred. Experience within the Construction industry is a huge plus!
Main Duties/Description:
Employee Relations:
- Handle employee inquiries, concerns, and conflicts.
- Conduct investigations into HR-related matters and recommend appropriate resolutions.
- Foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and collaborate with management to develop relevant programs.
- Implement and facilitate training sessions for employees on various HR-related topics.
- Assess the effectiveness of training initiatives and make continuous improvements.
Performance Management:
- Manage the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
- Work closely with leadership to ensure performance goals align with organizational objectives.
Other Duties:
- Undertake additional responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the HR Manager or leadership.
- Stay current with industry trends and employment laws to ensure HR practices are up-to-date.
Skills/Experience:
- Proficiency in Spanish required
- 3+ years' experience as an HR Generalist, especially in the areas of Employee Relations, Training and Development, and Performance Management
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field is strongly preferred
- Experience within the Construction industry is a huge plus!
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Software: Microsoft Office, UKG
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $37-$42/hour, depending on experience
Hours: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday-Friday
