LHH Recruitment Solutions is teaming up with a performing arts venue in Berkeley, CA in search of a stellar Human Resources Generalist. This contract position is the perfect opportunity for someone who would like to continue to grow their career within the HR field and is ready to hit the ground running! The position is expected to have a duration of 3 months.
The HR Generalist will join a friendly, collaborative, and positive team. This is a high activity office with lots of moving parts, so the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential.

The ideal candidate is exceptionably personable, customer centric, and has at least 2 years’ experience as an HR Generalist. Experience with Benefits, Onboarding, HRIS (and being a part of implementing a new system) are a plus!
Responsibilities

• Assist HR Manager and HR Director in day-to-day tasks

• Assist with new system implementation

• Other job-related duties, as reasonably assigned

Education/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least 2 years HR Generalist or other related experience preferred

• Software: HRIS (Ultipro and/or Paycom a plus!), Microsoft Office

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to take initiative and thrive in a collaborative environment

• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

• Trustworthy and able to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion

Job Type: Contract (3 months)
Pay Rate: $32-$36/hour, depending on experience
Attire: Business Casual
