Food Lifeline believes that hunger doesn’t have to happen, and our mission is to feed people experiencing hunger today and work to end hunger for tomorrow. We’re currently hiring for a People and Culture Specialist as a member of our People and Culture Team.

What we are looking for?

We are hiring for a full-time People and Culture Specialist who will serve as our HR Generalist and who will beresponsible for day to day people and culture operations. The best fit for this position is a HR professional with a broad range of experience in different HR areas such as benefits administration and payroll processing, managing HR Information Systems, experience with ADP is a bonus, and employee relations and engagement. This position will also provide critical support for People and Culture initiatives and support for embedding equity and inclusion initiatives into all work across Food Lifeline.

You care deeply about people experiencing hunger and hold them in the center of all that you do. You understand that our work in and with the community is at the heart of our mission to end hunger. You are a team player that is flexible and motivated. You have good customer service skills and effective communication experience.

Most of all, you wake up in the morning eager to use your skills to build a movement to end hunger, and you are interested in being on the front lines to help get food to people during this current crisis.

*This hybrid position will require the staff member to be present at our Hunger Solutions Center for 3 days per week including Mondays. The anticipated schedule for onsite hours is 8am-4:30pm*

Salary range is $76,000-82,000 annually with full benefits including employer paid medical coverage for employees and children, dental, and vision insurance, employer paid basic life, long and short term disability, and a company match for 403(b) retirement plans, and generous paid time off, including parental leave.
