Hr Generalist

Zero Labs is on a mission to bring Premium Classic Vehicles into the modern world through electrification. We are looking for a high-energy, people and process driven HR Generalist to join the team. This isn't a boring sit at a desk job - we're fast paced and changing a category, and this is a chance to touch every element of the business. What you will do:

• Partner with Zero Labs leadership to create and actively manage HR policies and procedures, including employee handbooks, performance management, onboarding, etc.
• Collaborate with and assist with organizational planning, including job leveling, career paths, and org structure.
• Take a lead role in our full-cycle recruiting process. This is your chance to help improve the process as well as actively get involved with sourcing, interviews, and hiring as we begin our scale.
• Conduct job and compensation studies and make recommendations to leadership for current staff and future hires.
• Lead and manage our Time & Attendance and Payroll process, including implementing best practices and running payroll.
• Work directly with executive team on Diversity and Inclusion Strategies... and actually drive them, not just talk about it.
• Build employee relations and handle day-to-day concerns from teammates.
• Develop and support performance management and incentive programs.
• Assist with and act as interim leader for Environmental, Health, Safety, and Compliance matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Certifications a plus.
• 5+ years of experience across varying fields of Human Resources, including recruiting, compliance, labor relations, etc.
• High degree of discretion and professionalism, and ability to withhold utmost privacy for employee matters.
• Experience in creating HR processes, implementing change management, and driving improvements.
• Strong intrapersonal skills, awareness of group dynamics, and ability to lead in ambiguous start-up environments.
• Familiarity with HR software for key functions like timekeeping, payroll, organization planning, etc.
• Superior documentation and organizational skills with an eye for detail.
• Comfort and ability to provide coaching and development for all levels of the organization.
• A positive, self-starting attitude that works well with others, can be accountable to customers, and hold others accountable.
