Growing Educational Assessment Company Seeks Multi-Talented Individual
SME is looking for a few new employees interested in learning about the educational test development and test scoring business. Our goal is to eventually have these new employees become project managers. New employees will start by providing general HR support to existing projects as they learn the tasks and responsibilities associated with the project manager position. Great job for teachers looking for a different career path within the world of education.
Responsibilities:
- Initial job responsibility will be to work with Project Managers to recruit, hire and schedule project teams of 100 to 400 temporary workers
- Collect, verify and maintain employee paperwork
- Verify employee hours
- Answer phone calls and respond to employee questions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and employee satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in managing paperwork and scheduling for larger work groups is preferred, but training will be provided
- Competence in using with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Associate's degree or higher
Other Duties:
- This position will flex to other types of project support for about 50% of the year
- Experience teaching or working in schools will be a plus
- Proofreading and editorial skills will be a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
