Job Description

Maintains and enhances internal communication and human resources, by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and activities as it applies to company policies, programs, and practices, in alignment with company expectations.

Primary Functions

  • Recruitment: Develops, and implements recruitment plans and strategies, recruiting and interviewing the best candidates to fill company needs, based on established recruitment processes and program requirements. Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Hiring and Onboarding: Ensures that new employees meet the company requirements, ensuring that all provided documentation for hiring is accurate and valid. Conducts new hire onboarding process to ensure that new hires are provided with the necessary tools to understand company culture, process and procedures.
  • Benefits and Incentives: Maintains, documents, processes, and follows up with employee benefits, leaves, compensation matters, incentives programs, employee recognitions, occupational health and safety issues in collaboration with the Human Resources, Payroll and Compliance Teams.
  • Motivation: Reflects a positive approach through actions and words, towards company initiatives. Creates a strong sense of job satisfaction by communicating and rewarding performance excellence by maintaining the company culture and policies.
  • Escalations: Under the supervision of the HR Manager and using all resources available, addresses escalations in a timely manner by performing a thorough investigation of each escalated occurrence. Provides a detailed report of findings and actions taken. Escalates areas of concerns such as but not limited to recurrent issues, policy violations, liability concerns, client concerns, compliance violations.
  • Disciplinary Actions: Under the supervision of the Human Resource Manager, participates in disciplinary processes ensuring that well documented forms are filed following Company’s guidelines. Provides recommendations for employment separation following Human Resources guidelines. Oversees and maintains an accurate track of team member’s disciplinary record.
  • Employment Separations: Participates and processes employment separations tactfully and following the legal compliance guidelines. Follows the required separation processes, documentation and reporting guidelines.
  • Reporting: Maintains detailed records by documenting and innovating existing filing and retrieval systems; keeping records and reports up to date. Submits Human Resources reports; indecent reports, recruitment reports, attrition reports accurately and timely

Secondary Functions

  • Special projects: Prioritizes, organizes and follows up on special projects based on urgency and site impact. Contributes to the enhancement of the Company culture by help in organizing training programs, engagement activities, Companywide activities that boost the employee morale and cultivate the company values.
  • Meetings: Is actively involved in meetings pertaining administration and operations that represent or impact the Huma Resources Department. Meets as needed with administrative and operations members to review performance issues, separations recommendations, review patterns, progress and discuss effective solutions. Participates in management meetings as requested. Conducts focus groups quarterly documenting outcomes and providing feedback to the Operations Team.
  • Communication: Answers to e-mails promptly using proper grammar and e-mail etiquette. Communicates professionally with clients and staff members. Handles applicants and employee-related inquiries and grievances; through win/win resolutions. Counsels’ employees on best practices escalating issues to leadership as needed.
Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office skills.
  • C1-C2 English and target language proficiency.
  • 3-5 years in Human Resources.
  • HRIS Paycom Experience Preferred

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • At least five years of human resource management experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
