Human Resources Manager Responsibilities:
- As human resources manager, you will be responsible to direct the human resource and payroll activities within the facility including training and updating staff on company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- You will recruit staff members and conduct background checks.
- You will provide general orientation to new employees according to company policy.
- You will advise department managers on proper procedures regarding progressive discipline and termination activity to ensure consistency in policy interpretation and application.
- You will maintain workers compensation files. Ensure that all pertinent information is collected including all physician information and return to work documentation.
Human Resource Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Human Resources.
- Proficiency with or the ability to learn our company's HRIS.
- Knowledge and familiarity with employment-related laws and regulations.
- Excellent prioritization and delegation skills.
