JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Profile:
Responsible for the assisting with HR processes and procedures for the organization, following established procedures
and processes. Areas of responsibility include Payroll for both Hourly and Salary employees, recruitment and
selection process, the on-boarding process for new employees, and related HR processes.
• Job Accountabilities and Duties:
o Be the primary administrator for both bi-weekly payroll as well as semi-monthly, processing in ADP
Which includes preparing/acquiring paperwork required to place employee in the payroll system.
o Ancillary Revenues will need to be sorted, processed, and added to payroll.
o Enter New Hire information.
o Answer employees Payroll questions
o Reconciles benefit statements as well as other invoices.
o
• New Employee On-Boarding. Assisting with the on-boarding process. Facilitates new employee orientations
and employee processing, ensuring that new employees:
o Complete new hire paperwork accurately and on-time
o Enroll in elective benefit programs within the required enrollment period.
o Are provided with basic information regarding benefit programs, pay practices, HR policies, safety, and
GMP requirements.
o Are set up in the HR/Payroll system correctly and on schedule
• HR Process and Policy Administration:
o Unemployment claims assistance
o Attendance Policy
o Step and Merit increase execution
• Recruitment, selection, and hiring. Plays a role in the recruitment, selection and hiring of talent for the
organization. Ensures hiring processes are executed and provides input to the hiring team regarding candidates
and process. Engages with organizational leadership to understand staffing needs and takes action to ensure
staffing needs are satisfied. Manages third party staffing and temporary services. Maintains organization charts
for the organization.
• Employee Relations. Provides an open access and resource for any and all employees to bring forward ideas,
issues, or concerns. Actively listens to employee concerns and provides council and support toward a
satisfactory resolution. Protects employee confidentiality, unless there is risk of harm to others or the business.
Takes appropriate steps to resolves issues.
• Teamwork and Collaboration. Acts as a key member of the Human Resources Team. Actively engages in plant
meetings, and provides timely feedback to HR Team. May provide and/or receive input from across functional
boundaries. Understands organizational mesh points and potential synergies. Integrates team efforts across
business segments and channels. Understands available resources, both in the Plant and outside of the Plant
and utilizes those resources when appropriate.
• Leadership. Acts with integrity. Treats others with dignity and respect. Models behavior that is consistent with

Provides functional leadership to all plant departments Acts as a responsible advocate for Regulatory
requirements and Employee Safety. Understands the importance of compliance and reports any and all

presentation, oral and written communication skills, including facilitating and giving presentations.

impact the business viability of the organization.
Organizational Relationships:
• Reports to Director of Human Resources
Incumbent Profile:
Education and Experience
• Previous experience working in or administering payroll.
• Excellent computer and data-entry skills
• Two to years' experience working in an office as an administrative assistant, customer service
representative, or human resources would be preferred.
• • ADP Payroll Experience is a plus!

• Good analytical ability, including the ability to analyze data and make sound recommendations.

• Ability to manage employee communications, including employee concerns and employee relations issues
• Must be organized and detail oriented, and be able to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities.

• Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills and capabilities as a part of the plant management team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or relevant software packages
