Job Title:   Recruiting and HR Coordinator 
Department:   Human Resources
Reports To:    HR Manager   
Shift: Up to 30 hours per week (Days - Office Onsite)

PRIMARY PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY

The Recruiting role will focus on candidate attraction and candidate management to achieve staffing objectives.  Will work to recruit internal and external, active and passive candidates and performing tasks with a focus to grow our company’s talent pipeline and improve our sourcing tactics. The HR Coordinator role is responsible for daily HR functions and. Additionally, he/she will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations.

The primary responsibilities include talent acquisition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

·         Support the recruitment/hiring process by posting/closing requisitions, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, performing background/drug checks, employment offers, onboarding processes, and update employee records.

·         Own the candidate experience from initial interview through offer, background check process, assessment process, and onboarding.

·         Establish recruiting requirements by studying organizational plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.

·         Create tailored marketing and advertising strategies (i.e. online job board searches, in-house database searches, networking referrals, etc.) to attract the best candidates

·         Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.

·         Managing the offer, negotiation and rejection process

·         Participate in local job fairs to attract candidates and company branding; establish and maintain outside relationships through networking with Community Based Organizations

·         Proactively contact candidates to keep them engaged, informed, and organized

·         Manage and coordinate with Training Manager to convert temporary workers to full time employees.

·         Respond to unemployment benefits requests.

  • Assist the HR team with training, compliance, employee administration, various research projects and/or special projects.

·         Maintain records of personnel-related data in both paper and the HRIS system and ensure all employment requirements are met.

·         Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.

  • Updating employee records in the system
  • Assist HR Specialist in processing new employee records, benefit processes, terminations, and reports.
  • Assist with planning activities throughout the year.
  • Back-up as needed for Receptionist and Administrative Assistant responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Direct reporting to HR Manager
  • Indirect support for Legacy People Managers with tasks and activities.
  • The Recruiting & HR Coordinator shall be held accountable for the compliance, accuracy and timeliness of responsibilities and work assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or greater
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources; experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry a plus.
  • Minimum of 1-year full cycle recruiting.
  • Experience using ATS systems. Paycom a plus but not required.
  • Maintain Confidentiality.
  • Above average attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt and operate under strict compliance controls and under cGMP regulations.
  • Above average to “think on their feet”, troubleshoot and react to challenges.
  • Unwavering ability to manage confidential information.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • “Intermediate User” ability in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong telephone skills.
  • Professional appearance, highly self-motivated, results oriented and dependable.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Office environment; hourly, non-exempt position
