The Coordinator is responsible for the creation and maintenance of reports, HR data and system integrity, and careful review and understanding of all system updates. This role will work closely with subject matter experts as it relates to Workday, understanding changes to business processes, and their downstream effects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintain assigned functions within Workday and provide training, technical and administrative support to internal and external partners.
Partner with subject matter experts to create and maintain Workday reports and dashboards.
Assist in assuring system functionality and optimizing efficiency.
Work with the appropriate departments to audit and implement new processes as needed.
Audit Workday to validate the integrity of foundational data such as supervisory organizations and cost centers. Make appropriate updates in the system based on the audits.
Analyze and interpret data to identify and troubleshoot problems within assigned business area.
Create, monitor, and update various reports based on company needs. This may include requests from leadership or other departments to update or changes operational procedures, regulations, and administrative policies.
Perform setup of new foundational items such as hierarchical structures.
Provide support to functional subject matter experts to troubleshoot potential issues and test for downstream effects.
Thoroughly test system updates in a test environment prior to pushing data into Workday production tenant.
Coordinate, create, and upload mass amounts of data through enterprise interface builders (EIBs) as needed.
Regularly research enhancements and efficiencies in processes, reports, and overall system improvement.
Provide phone support for team.
Assist with other projects and duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
1+ year of Workday HCM experience, including report writing
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts in business terms for functional internal partners
Excellent ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with business partners at all organizational levels (including executive leadership) to elicit business needs and formulate solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to create and understand various formulas, functions, and formatting
High attention to detail with emphasis on thoroughness and accuracy
Strong foundational understanding of HR best practices & ability to understand key HR concepts
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and evaluate solutions that are acceptable to diverse groups with conflicting interests and needs
High level of initiative and commitment towards assignments while working under limited supervision
Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Desired:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field (equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree)
2+ years of comprehensive experience including in-depth HCM system configuration
2+ years of Workday experience (end-user experience) with a strong understanding of Workday design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with database tools
Previous experience with Workday administration
