Job Description
SALT Dental Collective is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of human resource activities for all SALT practices, including new hire onboarding, orientation, personnel file maintenance, policy compliance, performance management, recruiting, and assist the department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees. You will be responsible for administering full employee lifecycle changes, answering employee requests and questions, maintaining personnel records, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
This is an on-site position located in Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities- Administer full employee lifecycle changes including employee onboarding, job changes, and terminations.
- Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. Act as a trusted advisor on benefits and company policies and procedures.
- Administer full employee lifecycle changes in our HRIS.
- Complete Forms I-9, verify I-9 documentation, complete E-Verify reporting, and maintain compliance.
- Assist in benefits orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system.
- Complete verifications of employment.
- Maintain electronic files for new hires, active and terminated employees.
- Assist with recruiting efforts through ad placement and sourcing candidates as needed.
- Maintain personnel lists, filing, and systems for record keeping of team member data and benefits information.
- Assist with the administration of the performance management process.
- Update HR internal process and procedures documents as needed.
- Collaborate with department managers to update and create job descriptions as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, and current employment laws and regulations.
- Drive the development and implementation of employee engagement and community involvement initiatives.
- Deliver quality customer service to all team members, customers, and stakeholders.
- Perform all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations.
- Assist in ad-hoc HR projects as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Human Resource experience required.
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems, specifically ADP Workforce Now, is a plus.
- Strong MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related area is preferred.
