Essential functions:
- Responsible for onboarding initiatives - including in-person follow-ups with new hires
- Conduct new hire tours highlighting our product, production facilities, and on-site company benefits
- Assist and manage on-site training programs
- Responsible for unemployment for Indiana employees
- Assist employees with general HR questions and requests
- Assist with employee relations situations and initial investigations
- Provide back-up coverage for new hire orientation
- Provide back-up coverage for new hire entry in the HRIS system
- Provide back-up coverage and assist with switchboard coverage during daily breaks and scheduled vacations
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Experience / Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
- One to two years related experience required

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Working understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines

Work Requirements
- This position may require sitting, standing, and working in front of a computer monitor in an office setting approximately 95% of the day.
- Requires ability to travel to plants across entire campus.
- Full time position which may require some flexibility in hours and days worked including occasional Saturdays as needed.
