Job Summary
The College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) at CU Boulder encourages applications for an HR Coordinator! This temporary role supports the Assistant Dean for Organizational Development, Culture and Equity, CEAS and the supporting HR Operations team operating in the dean's office with special projects, document routing, and filing.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Process Documentation:
- Support the assistant dean with oversight and completion of HR procedure documentation project; support the larger HR team with organizing, finalizing, and documenting standard operating procedures for HR driven processes within the college.
Backup coordinator support for Faculty Advancement:
- File saving for sabbaticals, faculty reappointments, end-of-month faculty evaluations, faculty offers, addendums and other documents for routing via DocuSign, and saving to files.
- Support physical execution of faculty events, recruitment and welcome support, staff orientation, and similar on-site activities and events.
General support for HR Assistant Dean and HR Generalists:
- Support the organization, invitation, and tracking of faculty and staff to learning and training events.
- Learn and assist with the talent acquisition tool (Avature) to support generalists with the position management and posting processes to get job descriptions approved and posted.
- Assist in organizing faculty and staff training invitations and tracking.
What You Should Know
This is a temporary, full-time position anticipated to last through the end of 2024. This role is working in a hybrid situation.
What We Can Offer
The hourly pay range is $26.92 - $35.00.

What We Require
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
What You Will Need
- Experience working with spreadsheets, for example Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in various cloud, web, and HRIS tracking and filing systems.
- Good organizational skills.
- Knowledge and experience in process and procedure documentation.
What We Would Like You to Have
- Experience with calendar management and scheduling.
- Experience and knowledge of higher education or complex/matrix organizational structures.
- Experience with learning and development tracking.
- Experience with standard operating procedures or practice documentation.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resource information systems (HRIS).
