The Opportunity:
MMB+CO. is seeking a full-time HR Coordinator in our Rochester, NY office. In this newly created role, you will implement, administer, and manage benefits administration and compliance.
This is role is a hybrid position based out of our Rochester, NY office.
A Closer Look At the Role:
Benefit Administration:
- Administer benefit programs and related communications to employees.
- Coordinate benefit enrollment process for new hires and employees with qualifying events.
- Support open enrollment process annually including system setup in HRIS
Compliance:
- Serve as point of contact for all policy and procedural questions.
- Train employees and partners on new systems, processes, and procedures.
- Maintain updates to employee handbook in conjunction with the personnel committee.
- Stays abreast of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Dependent upon aptitude and interest, other related and relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or related discipline
- 1 -2 years related HR experience
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Paycom or other HRIS experience a plus
- Solid knowledge of employment laws
- Understanding of employee relations
