At Integrity, Human Resources is a trusted advisor and partner to executive leadership, managers, and employees. The HR Assistant will support the HR function, performing a variety of general human resources and recruiting activities related to the employee lifecycle.
Essential Duties:
- Assists with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintains both manual and automated employee records as well as other files.
- Collects and compiles sensitive and confidential employee statistics and prepares reports.
- Provides information to all levels of employees regarding human resources policies and procedures.
- Completes forms and/or inputs data into the HRIS and employee benefit portal.
- Supports the performance review process.
- Engages in the creation of meaningful employee events (e.g., all-hands meetings, annual events).
- Supports company wellness and community impact activities.
- Assists with recruiting activities such as editing and posting jobs, sourcing potential candidates, and reviewing resumes.
- Works with candidates to answer any questions they may have in the hiring process, including benefits.
- Conducts phone screens and initial interviews as well as reference checks.
- Assists with maintenance of company job boards and the applicant tracking system.
- Maintains the job requisition database to reflect candidate status.
- Prepares employment offer letters and packets sent to new employees.
- Assists with job fairs and college recruiting activities, as necessary.
- Coordinates travel arrangements and submits expense reimbursements for candidates.
- Works closely with other administrative departments on onboarding, offboarding, and other ad hoc projects.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
- Will consider relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active HR certification (SHRM, HCRI) a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years applicable HR experience
- Experience working in a professional services/government contracting environment.
- A foundation in HR technical knowledge, with an understanding of the principles, practices, and functions of Human Resources.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, maintain confidentiality and security of all personnel information.
- Must be meticulous, organized, and able to juggle multiple assignments with varying deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
- Strong people skills, a professional demeanor and a proven proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of an organization and maintains effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
- Competent in curiosity and the desire for innovation, improvement, and change aligned with the organization's growth strategy.
