Hr Assistant/ Compliance Assistant

HR Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative duties
• Maintain employee records and ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate
• Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrollment and changes
• Assist with employee relations, including responding to employee inquiries and escalating issues as needed
• Assist with processing payroll
• Assist with maintaining our retirement plans
• Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned to fulfill the responsibilities of the position

Compliance Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures
• Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and presentations
• Provide support to the compliance team in various projects and initiatives
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities
• Performs other duties as assigned to fulfill the responsibilities of the position

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
