- JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the activities and work efforts of employees assigned to a specific shift or operation for the hospital. Supervisors may be expected to routinely function as staff. Is actively engaged and models the skills and behaviors of the 9 Studer Principals leading to an outcome of organizational excellence. The PCS will complete Leader Rounding on their direct reports and assist in completing the unit Stop Light Report. They will round on patients during their shift and assist in assuring 100% of the patients are rounded on by Leadership. The PCS will function in the role as charge nurse through adjusting staffing and completing patient assignments. They will assist in staffing by proactively managing the patient schedules. The supervisors will assist in staff development by assisting in completing direct report evaluations, HSL conversations, following through on staff orientation and education and nurse competency and education. The House Supervisor will assist in unit communications through participation in staff meetings and holding unit huddles. Supervises activities consistent with department goals. They will assist in unit operations through evaluating and monitoring unit compliance and supply procurement for the unit. Reports to the Acute Care Director/Manager. Is an active advocate of Blessing Health System in the community.

- JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Education/Training/Experience:
- REQUIRED:
- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- BSN.
- Relevant nursing experience.

- None
- License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
- Possesses current State RN license.
- Maintain current BLS
- Preferred: Certification in nursing management and/or clinical specialty.
