Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces of the hotel
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and sweep and mop floors
- Change linens and make beds
- Replenish amenities such as towels, toiletries, and supplies
- Empty trash and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and guest service
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and cleaning equipment
- Understanding of hospitality industry standards and practices
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
