Salary### Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. As a Food Service Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers, preparing and serving food, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.
### Duties:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS system (e.g., Aloha POS)
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance customer experience
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in a visually appealing manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register efficiently
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service
### Skills:
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary knowledge and experience in the food industry
- Excellent hospitality skills to provide exceptional customer service
- Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation management systems is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
