Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team. As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing banquet events and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This is a key position that requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.

Duties:
- Coordinate and supervise banquet staff to ensure smooth event execution
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications
- Oversee food and beverage service during events, ensuring high-quality standards are met
- Assist with menu planning and food presentation
- Train and mentor banquet staff on service standards and procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas
- Collaborate with other departments such as kitchen, restaurant management, and culinary team to ensure seamless event operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment

Skills:
- Previous experience as a Banquet Captain or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Aloha POS system
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
