Job Description
We are seeking organized and experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.
MUST be able to work any and all shifts. Looking for full time 3pm-11pm and can also cover a couple nights audit when needed which is overnight shift 11pm-7am
You’ll be responsible for performing various administrative tasks, such as answering telephones and giving information to customers. This is a high volume property that is busy year round.
Front desk employees are often the first employee that the customer or the public comes into contact with, so you’ll also be responsible for leaving a good first impression for the organization.
We are seeking a highly-skilled and self-motivated individual. In this position, you will play a key role by performing various administrative and clerical tasks. You should be comfortable undertaking a variety of activities in the office, including filing, answering the phone, organizing documents, basic bookkeeping, and more. Reliability and a strong work ethic combined with great communication skills are a must, as well as familiarity with all necessary office equipment, software, and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential.
The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.
Responsibilities
- Keep Front Desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.)
- Greet and welcome guests
- Answer questions and address complaints
- Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages
- Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them
- Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
- Check, sort and forward emails
- Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Keep updated records and files
- Take up other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience as Front Desk representative, agent or relevant position
- Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
- Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Customer service orientation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
