Host/Host
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist in seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
- Manage waitlists and reservations using the Aloha POS system
- Take and relay accurate food and beverage orders to the kitchen staff
- Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of orders to guests' tables
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or other restaurant point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and management
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
