Vascular Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Providing quality care and services throughout the patient’s hospitalization under the supervision of an attending physician
• Evaluation of patients through daily rounding, ordering and evaluation
• Performs admission history and physicals
• Communicates with attending physicians regarding patient care
• Communicates with patient and patient’s family regarding diagnosis, treatment and patient education
• Actively participates in patient discharge planning
• Records findings of examinations, assessments, and plan of care
• Performs initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and daily assessments
• Writes appropriate prescriptions and administers medications
• Documents all patient encounters, records observations, interventions, and actions in a medically appropriate manner on the patient's medical record

Requirements:

• Nurse Practitioner license required (ANP or FNP)
• Vascular or Vein Experience required
