The Hospice Medical Records role at Care360 Hospice in Hilliard, Ohio is a full-time, individual contributor position that involves maintaining and organizing patient Medical Records in compliance with state and federal regulations. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The compensation for this position is $20 to $25 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize patient Medical Records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Record and track important patient information such as diagnoses, treatments, and medications
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of Medical Records by reviewing and auditing documentation
- Handle all requests for patient Medical Records in a timely and confidential manner
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information at all times
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and office staff to gather necessary information and resolve any discrepancies
- Continuously update and maintain electronic Medical Records system
- Assist with training and education of new team members on proper medical record procedures
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and quality of medical record management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Records management, preferably in a hospice or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to medical record keeping
- Proficiency in electronic Medical Records systems
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
- Must be able to work well independently and in a team setting
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
