Position Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong computer knowledge and skills are necessary.
- Minimum of 1 year of clerical experience, preferably in a medical setting.
- Completion of 2 years of college in a related field preferred.
- Experience in Medical Records Department preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently; work well with others.
- Must exhibit or demonstrate the ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization.
- Assists and consults with Bereavement Coordinator in preparation of bereavement file and other related bereavement issues.
- Receives all clinical admission forms, distributes copies to appropriate personnel and incorporates originals in the open chart.
- Maintains all Medical Records in the designated areas according to agency policies and procedures.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have reliable personal transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to safely and personally operate a vehicle

- Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
