SalaryVolunteers of America South Central Louisiana is looking for a Full Time Homeless Outreach Coordinator in the Alexandria area.
The Homeless Outreach Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the Homeless Outreach Program and services clients with a mental health disability who are living on the streets or are living with a family member or friend on a temporary basis.
JOB DUTIES
- Provide case management services to clients within case load
- Coordinating and participating in the H2O outreach
- Organize and execute weekly outreach events and the monthly 4am outreaches
- Data collection, reporting, and staying within budget guidelines
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Maintaining positive, working relationship with collaborating agencies in the community
- Actively working with other programs in the agency to find housing for homeless
- Participating when required in all PR and Development fundraising activities
- And other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in social services or other closely related field from an accredited college.
- Two years experience
- Excellent computer skills, ability to work as a team, and have good interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and communication skills are necessary
- Able to work well with other community agencies
