Home Health Office Assistant / Medical Records
Job Responsibilities
Answer phones professionally and connect to right department
Greet visitors
Input, review and maintain written and computer files
Responsible for preparation of confidential documents and reports
Assist in orientation of new hires
Handle other office tasks including copying, filing, report generation
Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail
Organize and maintain personnel and medical records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Administrative Assistant/HR Assistant will assist in onboarding new hires and maintain personnel records
Qualifications of Administrative Assistant/HR Assistant
Prior office experience in a home care, hospice or related setting
Knowledgeable in HomeHealth MD and other Home Health Software
Attention to detail is a must
Excellent communication skills through phone and email
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Bilingual English-Spanish is a MUST
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18-$25 (based on experience)
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Experience:
Home Care, Home Health or Hospice: 1 year (Preferred)
Experience in OASIS Software: 1 year (Preferred)
Microsoft Office: 3 years (Preferred)
Office/Administrative: 2 years (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
