Home Health Office Assistant / Medical Records

Job Responsibilities

• Answer phones professionally and connect to right department

• Greet visitors

• Input, review and maintain written and computer files

• Responsible for preparation of confidential documents and reports

• Assist in orientation of new hires

• Handle other office tasks including copying, filing, report generation

• Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail

• Organize and maintain personnel and medical records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

• Administrative Assistant/HR Assistant will assist in onboarding new hires and maintain personnel records

Qualifications of Administrative Assistant/HR Assistant

• Prior office experience in a home care, hospice or related setting

• Knowledgeable in HomeHealth MD and other Home Health Software

• Attention to detail is a must

• Excellent communication skills through phone and email

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

• Bilingual English-Spanish is a MUST

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18-$25 (based on experience)

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Home Care, Home Health or Hospice: 1 year (Preferred)

• Experience in OASIS Software: 1 year (Preferred)

• Microsoft Office: 3 years (Preferred)

• Office/Administrative: 2 years (Preferred)
