SalaryHistology/Surgical Path Lab Supervisor position available at large independent pathology group in Sarasota, FL.
Histology/Surgical Path Laboratory Supervisor with HT or HTL and State of Florida Histology Supervisor license (or eligible). Responsible to oversee anatomic pathology laboratory in hospital setting, with the daily routine of technical and administrative operations. Provide supervision of high complexity testing. Must ensure policies/ procedures and quality control guidelines are met. Maintain CAP and CLIA guidelines. Coordinate communication, training / orientation, and monitoring of staff in multiple locations. Liaison with pathologists and hospital. Must have supervisory experience in a hospital based Surgical Path Lab, with ability to mult-task at all levels. Grossing and frozen section experience required
