HIL Engineering Manager

Job Description

• Manage customized HIL project team and resources in alignment with global project team.
• Guide customers to solutions and ensure successful prove out, deployment and ongoing support.
• Provide technical leadership as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage and mentor your team.
• Achieve global product line project goals.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through coaching, tech support, and coordination.
• Manage and lead technical activities for custom HIL solutions.
• Work with customers to comprehend requirements and implement solutions.
• Work with Vector product management as the voice of the customer.
• Demonstrate Vector management values.

Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience in vehicle networking, test system design/development and delivery of HIL testers
• 5+ years experience using/implementing automotive networking standards such as CAN, LIN, MOST, Ethernet.
• Leadership experience displaying ability to organize and prioritize complex problem resolution.
• People management experience.
• Strong communication skills for all levels internally and externally.
• Strong conceptual, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to facilitate a team environment with a customer service orientation.
• B.S. in EE/SE/CE/CS or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
