The Washington and Lee IT Help Desk is looking for techinican to assist with IT projects.

Essential Duties:
- Provide first and second level technical support to faculty and student users.
- Work as a member of a team to diagnose and fix both computer and network problems.
- Provide one on one user support through both phone and face to face contact. Install and maintain lab and classroom equipment.
Work Schedule: This is a part-time, seasonal position with expected work hours of 35 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Minimum Pay: $12.50
Minimum Qualifications: Familiarity with office setting, ability to use personal computer, and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office products is required. Must be able to understand and follow oral and written directions. Must have good organizational skills and be an effective communicator. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently. Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor.

Types of Work:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
