SalaryWe have an exciting opportunity for you to join the C.A. Ferolie team in our Montvale, NJ, location! We are looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Help Desk Support Representative to join our team on a temporary basis. This position provides valuable hands-on experience in IT support and requires a commitment to set hours each week.
Hours of Operation: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)
Target Duration: 4-6 months
Pay Rate: $20/hr
What You Will Do:
- Assist in providing technical support to employees.
- Respond to Help Desk requests and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
- Support user account maintenance, password resets, and basic IT training for employees.
- Document Help Desk requests, resolutions, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaborate with the IT team on projects and initiatives as directed.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Demonstrates strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally with a sense of urgency and empathy to the affected user.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
