Main Function:
Monitor and track the quarterly Data Collection of hospital claims and nurse staffing data. Understand underlying system edits and troubleshoot issues with vendor as appropriate. Provide outstanding customer service to customers while assisting them with data submission process and ensure they meet regulatory compliance.
Outline of Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track the quarterly Data Collection process of hospital claims and nurse staffing data.
- Assist customers with data submission to ensure they meet regulatory data submission requirements.
- Understand system edits, participate in the development of new edit specifications, and test new edits and Data Collection processes.
- Coordinate the quarterly close process and analyze reporting compliance to ensure complete and accurate hospital data are reported within designated timeframes.
- Partner with Data Collection vendor to troubleshoot and resolve Data Collection issues.
- Address customer needs utilizing outstanding customer service skills and program knowledge.
- Provide data submission related communications to reporting authorities.
- Deliver customer educational programs and product training.
- Update technical support materials to reflect changes in process and/or product.
- Develop and implement creative strategies for improving operational efficiencies.
- Other duties as defined.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. Four (4) years of experience may be considered in lieu of education. Knowledge of healthcare claims, including ICD-10 and CPT required. Comprehensive customer service skills are required. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
