Salary range for this position is $91,291-$107,411. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
Remote Work option - This person wil work their first 90 days in the office. If there is completion of successful 90 day evaluation, this person will have the opportunity to work 8 days per month in the office and the rest from home
POSITION SUMMARY: The Data Architect I is responsible for understanding the data required for each application built upon the Tada fabric, including the definition, importance, format, and how it contributes/is used in the application. This role communicates and educates clients on data requirements and resolves associated questions. This role also works with clients to map their data source systems, the data available from each, and the quality and completeness of the customer’s data. The Data Architect I reviews/validates data provided by the customer and ensures fit with Tada application(s) and resolves gaps as necessary. This role establishes the data transfer mechanism (SFTP, API) and refresh frequency as well as ingests data into Tada, applies transforms, and validates outputs. The Data Architect I works with Solution Architects to ensure data set provides all required information necessary to build appropriate client applications.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY:
Layers business understanding on top of data/database skills. Deciphers, ingests, transforms, validates, and organizes large amounts of data using analytical skills.
Performs data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy.
Manages risk and ambiguity, works effectively with clients, and team members to define scope, and is able to manage multiple and often changing priorities with minimal guidance.
Uses time management skills allowing for delivery of high-quality services and information in a dynamic environment with critical deadlines.
Addresses clinical, operational and system related problems, to gather and interpret data, and to prepare clear, concise management reports and presentations. Shares complex information with leaders across the ministry using interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Analyzes both quantitative and qualitative data and finds practical solutions to difficult and complex problems.
Prioritizes tasks and projects and works with a minimal amount of day-to-day supervision.
Communicates well and is able to effectively engage clients and team members.
Engages with the development, test, and production support teams to resolve issues as necessary.
Maintains up-to date standards, best practices, procedures, and policies across the technology environment within a timely manner.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associates Degree with concentration in computer science, engineering, information systems, analytics, data science, technology, software engineering, or other closely related field, OR completion of high school or its equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of experience architecting, configuring, analyzing and developing database products and services within a healthcare or similar environment.
Experience: 1 year of experience with SQL (stored procedures and job management) as well as database design (NoSQL, Indexing, etc.).
1 year of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration and MS Azure Server Administration.
1 year of experience with data security and compliance standards.
Licensure/ Certification: N/A
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. A basic working knowledge of various technologies within area of discipline.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Data Science, Technology, Software Engineering, or related degree.
Experience: 1 year of experience with ETL tools and data loading/transforming methodologies. 1 year of experience in business intelligence, analytics, operations, finance, information systems or healthcare. 1 year of experience working with Database and Cloud Technologies: SQL, Azure, etc. 1 year of experience with database design, configuration, etc. Experience with other technologies common to Healthcare System environments.
Licensure/ Certification: Certification in area of software technology is preferred.
