Location: Harrisburg, PA (Hybrid Role)

Are you passionate about workplace safety and looking for a role that offers work/life balance? The Office of Administration is seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. In this hybrid role, you'll have the opportunity to work both onsite and remotely, ensuring safety program compliance across various agencies within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of safety professionals to meet agency needs across the Commonwealth.
- Plan and organize service requests, deliver health and safety training, and conduct assessments and audits.
- Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and provide support for injury/illness prevention and safety compliance.
- Work independently to provide on-site health and safety support and collaborate with clients to understand and meet their needs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- B.S. Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field OR B.S. in any field with a PA L&I BWC AIPP Qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of occupational safety experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong assessment, verbal, and written communication skills.
