This position is responsible for building content in support of required safety orientation for new employees, as well as on-going annual training of HE&R employees, in accordance with state and federal standards and guidelines. This role will assist in facilitating the activities of all company safety committees, conduct post-incident root cause analyses, and maintain company safety programs to ensure they are accurate and relevant.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Author and conduct annual reviews of Environmental, Health, and Safety programs to ensure they are accurate and relevant. Build content in support of required safety orientation and annual trainings.*
Maintain occupational safety training and annual safety training materials- ensuring compliance with state and federal standards and guidelines.*
Assist in facilitating the activities of all company Safety Committee meetings by sharing project updates, upcoming project plans, and trend analyses.*
Conduct and oversee the post-incident Root Cause Analysis process by closely collaborating with departments to complete employee or guest injury investigations.*
Conduct trending analyses for workplace accidents and injuries and provide written summaries and reports to senior management.*
Visit properties and handle necessary equipment to collect industrial hygiene testing samples of any potential areas of concern (ie. tests for mold, paint fumes, etc). Review results and provide report to department for determining next steps if necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid Driver's License
Bachelor’s degree - Occupational Safety & Health
Relevant work experience can be substituted for education - 4 years
Pre-Employment - OSHA 30 Hour Certification for General Industry, Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Industry Experience - Manufacturing
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
Proficient working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time.
