SalaryMcFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for Health Information Office Assistant for its Marshalltown office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: Receives request and pulls chart. Collects documents from departments, looks up patient record number and places on document and sends to barcoding/scanning. Sends and receives faxes to/from providers as requested. Assists in barcoding as requested. Accesses patient information via computer terminal as necessary and appropriate. Enters and distributes releases for Release of Information (ROI) staff. Assists Release of Information department with Quick releases. High School Diploma, GED or HiSET
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - 32 hours per week
