The Health Center Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the center’s leadership team. The Health Center AA is responsible for team leadership and general supervision of the administrative staff in the absence of the Center Office Manager. They are responsible for responding to and solving a variety of issues including, but limited to, facilities issues, schedule building and updating, customer complaints, time keeping and is also cross-trained to cover all administrative functions of the center. Frequent communication outside of the work group is required to resolve disagreements, reach agreements and
clarify issues/processes. Responsibility exists to ensure that internal customers are satisfied with service. Communication with external contacts is for providing or receiving factual information. Courtesy and tact are required in dealing with customers.
Required Education:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Preferred Education:
AA degree in office management, business or related field.
3 or more years of relevant work experience necessary to gain knowledge of office and administrative
procedures. Experience in healthcare environment strongly preferred.
Required Experience:
Three years prior experience as an Administrative Assistant.
