Full-Time Head Teller, Advantage One Credit Union
Advantage One is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with strong communication and leadership skills to fill a full-time Head Teller.
Qualified candidates will:
- Have the ability to work with, train and coach diverse groups of people in a leadership capacity
- Have the ability to represent the credit union in a courteous and professional manner and provide professional member service
- Have strong and effective communication skills
- Be responsible for handling cash, checks and negotiable instruments and accurately balancing a cash drawer
- Have a strong ability to learn new things
- Have knowledge of credit union products, services and policies and the ability to offer or implement them into daily operations while assisting members.
- Have a thorough understanding of regulations and compliance, especially relating to front line employees
- Effectively promote and cross-sell credit union products and services, based on member needs.
- Develop, apply, and evaluate procedures for the department
- Hold periodic staff meetings to discuss areas needing improvement, changes in procedures, new development of services, and to present general information
- Approve transactions that may require deviations from standard operating policies or procedures
- Maintain adequate supplies of all branch related items
- Manage the level of cash in the department, cash ordering, vault balancing, and security controls
- Investigate employee cash outages
- Maintain superior balancing record and display excellent problem-solving skills
- Perform quarterly assigned audits
Requirements for this position are strong communication skills, dependability, and the ability to multitask. Qualified candidates must have full availability, Monday through Friday and some Saturdays.
