BBH USA is looking for its Head of Finance to partner with the agencies' leadership team to influence BBH's overall strategy and drive the company's financial strategy and planning to support growth, maximize profitability and deliver yearly financial objectives, and agency's strategic non-financial goals.
Job Description
BBH Head of Finance will be reporting to the BBH President and to US Creative Group CFO.
The Head of Finance has overall responsibility for agency financial strategy, balancing the need to achieve the Agency's goals while remaining financially sound, agency financial reporting, budgeting and cost management and maintain a strong internal control environment across all financial operations, supported by the Business intelligence team (Accounting, Billing, FP&A).
Job Responsibilities
Financial Operations -
- Work with Agency leadership to maximize Growth, profitability and optimize processes.
- Responsible for agency financial statements (P&L, B/S, Cash flow).
- Provide financial counsel to management to assess financial risk/benefit of operational initiatives and actions.
- Provide operational analysis and develop action plans for management (ie client profitability, capacity management, burn reports, etc) in partnership with resource management.
- Work on compensation methodologies, client contracts, client profitability; assist management and account teams with development of commercial pricing strategies (ie, functional hourly rates, asset-based pricing, value at risk pricing models, etc) and support client teams by working and dealing directly with clients.
- Ensure that all contracts (current and future) are legally and financially sound; this involves the ability to defend the interests of the agency when dealing with procurement, suppliers, clients and prospects
- Manage and control costs, department budgets.
- Liaise with Shared Service Center for key operational areas (ie, Real Estate, Supplier Procurement, Legal, Treasury, etc)
- Manage cash (trade working capital and timely A/R collection).
Financial Reporting-
- Ensure that monthly reporting is performed accurately, completely and timely
- Partner with BI team for all matters related to Job management, billing, financial reporting and control, FP&A and client reporting.
- Review and approve transactional accounting performed by Business Intelligence (BI) team.
- Own revenue recognition and provisions.
- Ensure that all financial reporting is performed in according with Publicis Groupe Corporate Policies and Procedures ("Janus")
- Ensure performance of and compliance with Financial Monitoring Controls.
- Lead any internal and external audit with the support of the US Controller.
- Perform monthly performance analysis and submit reports to agency and pillar management.
- P&L and B/S analytical review
Financial Planning & Analysis -
- Anticipate risks and initiate actions to achieve financial objectives
- Prepare the annual business plan, taking into account business initiatives and financial targets
- Analyze actual performance against key benchmarks and highlight to management any areas requiring action
- Prepare rolling forecasts to maintain visibility on full year financial performance
- Prepare corrective action plans.
Others
- Management of Client Finance team.
- Partner with the BI team for transactional areas.
- Create presentations for key executives.
- Assist the Creative Group CFO with special projects as needed.

Qualifications
- At least 10 years financial management experience
- Advanced finance related credentials preferred (i.e. CPA, MBA, Masters)
- Industry experience, including client and executive interaction

Compensation Range: $190K - $220K. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
